At Together Trust, I volunteer as a Research Assistant by researching ‘Why is the number of children placed in unregulated accommodation increasing every year?’

I conduct desk-based research and collect evidence about what is driving this increase, so that we can better campaign for change.

Our key message is that we want every child in care to live in a setting which, at a minimum, provides the standard of care outlined in the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
